Start of East Brunswick Girls Volleyball Season

The East Brunswick High School volleyball team continues to establish itself in the Greater Middlesex Conference during the 2026-2027 season, combining strong offensive performance with impressive team chemistry and execution. As the team enters their season, they are showing what months of hard work and summer workouts have led to. Coach Chup said, “I am really proud of the team. I think we are back stronger than ever and I am excited to see what the season has in store.”

East Brunswick has played several games so far this season. While they have yet to win their first one, they have given strong competition to the other teams. With the season just beginning, the team has plenty of games left to prove themselves as a top contender. 

A major reason for East Brunswick’s success has been because of the performance by senior Zoe Holeman. As a setter for the team she has 24 assists, 5 digs, and 2 aces, she has been, quite literally, setting up her teammates for success. According to Holeman, “The season has been going well and I’m so excited for my senior year. I feel like I’ve been able to bond with my teammates and I largely attribute my success to them.”

Aside from individual performances, the Bears teamwork has never been stronger. Their ability to respond to losses and recover as a team is a strong quality to have. With the season underway, East Brunswick remains determined. If they continue playing with the same energy and confidence, fans have high hopes for the remainder of this season.
