EB Boys/Girls Soccer Season

EBHS soccer is on a roll. The varsity boys have had a 6-5 win-lose record as of now, while the girls have been cruising with a 7-3 win-lose record. The teamwork and resilience the team has shown throughout the season is clearly reflected in their winning records. Both teams have been training to improve their skills since August, and hopefully their hard work will result in positive results for the rest of the season, and going deep into the county tournament: GMCs.
Sophomore Emily Lasch, who plays for the girls JV soccer team, says, “I would say the season is going pretty well. The team has been working together on the field very well. Everyone is progressing very well and if we keep winning games, we might end up in GMC’s this year.”
All of East Brunswick's soccer players train not only their own skills, but their ability to work with a team as well. Playing together on the field has allowed the varsity teams to have success, as well as the JV teams. Continuing to coordinate will lead to more wins for these soccer teams, both during the regular season and for GMCs.
The boys and girls soccer teams have also been doing fundraisers, such as Dine to Donates and car washes, to fund the purchase of equipment and other necessities. This is a testament to the work they put both on and off the field, and the dedication the players have to improving their team.
