The first four weeks of the 2025 NFL season have been full of exciting games, close finishes, and unexpected moments. The Indianapolis Colts have surprised many fans with their strong start. Quarterback Daniel Jones and running back Jonathan Taylor are playing really well, helping the Colts win big games early.

On the other side, the Baltimore Ravens have had a rough start. Even though they scored 40 points in Week 1, they still lost. Since then, they’ve had trouble holding on to leads and lost their quarterback, Lamar Jackson, to an injury in Week 4.

Special teams have made a big difference this year. In Week 3, the Eagles blocked a Rams field goal and returned it for a touchdown to win the game. In Week 4, the Bears won by blocking a last-minute kick. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes reached 250 passing touchdowns faster than anyone in NFL history, and Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua tied a record for most catches in the first four games.

“This season has been crazy,” said Humza Hassan, a junior at East Brunswick High School. “One minute a team is winning, and the next they’re losing on a blocked kick.”

“I picked the Colts in fantasy as my defense, and everyone laughed at me,” said Pranay Bhatt, a sophomore at East Brunswick. “But now they’re one of the best teams in the league!”

With so many close games and surprises, the 2025 NFL season is off to a fun and unpredictable start.
