The 2025–2026 baseball season for East Brunswick High School has been a challenging but competitive year so far. Playing in the highly competitive Greater Middlesex Conference Red Division, the Bears have faced some of the strongest baseball programs in New Jersey. As of mid-May, the team held an overall record of 8–16 and a 5–10 conference record. Despite the difficult schedule, East Brunswick has continued to show determination and resilience throughout the season.

The Bears opened the season with an impressive 14–1 victory over Brick Township, showing early offensive strength and aggressive base running. Throughout the season, several players have stepped up offensively and defensively. Joe Spinello emerged as one of the team’s top stolen-base threats, while Julian Satterthwaite became a key contributor at the plate with one of the team’s highest batting averages and on-base percentages. Sophomore Tommy Compton said, “I hate that Julian is a senior. We love him on this team, and we don’t want to see him go.” On the mound, Jordan Rudolph has been one of the team’s most reliable pitchers, posting a strong ERA during conference play. “Jordan’s our guy, we love Big Red,” junior teammate Javier Casablanca said.

Although East Brunswick suffered a first-round loss in the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group 4 state tournament, the team remained competitive in many close games throughout the spring. The season has also provided younger players with valuable varsity experience that could help the program improve moving forward.
