East Brunswick Softball Season Recap
MAY 28, 2026
The EBHS softball team continues to establish itself as one of the top teams in the Greater Middlesex Conference (GMC) during the 2026 season, combining strong offensive performance with impressive team chemistry and execution. Coach Brady said, “I am really proud of the team. I think we came back stronger than ever this season and I am excited to see what the end has in store.”
East Brunswick has picked up several wins in recent weeks including two blowouts against North Brunswick and Old Bridge. They also came out with a huge win in the first round of GMCs, beating South Brunswick 8-0. Fans watch eagerly, hoping they can extend their eight-game win streak.
Sophomore Christina Lee has been a significant factor in the team’s success. She is batting .403 this season with 29 hits and 23 RBIs, making her one of the Bears’ most reliable hitters. She is also leading the pitching team with 13 wins and 116 strikeouts making her one of the team’s most valuable all-around players. “I am happy to help the team in any way I can,” said Lee. “I largely attribute my success to the way the team has played overall and the work I put in during the offseason.”
Aside from individual performances, the Bears’ teamwork has consistently stood out throughout the season, making them a serious contender in the GMC tournament. If they continue playing with the same energy and confidence, fans can have high hopes for the remainder of this impressive season.
