A full-court buzzer-beater by East Brunswick High School senior Camryn Vick became one of the most talked-about moments of the season after it was shared by major sports media platforms, including Overtime.
The shot happened just before the end of the first half during a recent boys’ basketball game. As the clock approached halftime, Vick launched the ball from the opposite end of the court. The ball went in as the buzzer sounded, and the crowd reacted immediately with cheers and celebration. The play quickly became the highlight of the night and a moment students continued talking about long after the game ended.
Soon after, video of the shot spread across social media, reaching viewers far beyond the East Brunswick community. For many students, seeing their school featured on a national sports page made the moment feel even bigger. “It was just amazing to see in person,” junior Chace Baver said. “When it went in, everyone stood up and started cheering.”
Sophomore Remson Dominique also shared how meaningful the moment was for the school: “seeing it shared by Overtime was really cool, it felt like our school was featured on a popular TV show and we were famous.”
While the shot did not decide the game’s final score, it became a defining highlight of the season. The full-court buzzer-beater brought attention, excitement, and school pride to East Brunswick High School, showing how one incredible play can turn an ordinary night into a memory that students and fans will remember for years.
