As the sky shifts from gold to deep purple, the Class of 2025 will gather at EBHS to watch the sun set on their final days of high school. On June 18, the PTSA will hold the Senior Sunset Sendoff for one last shared moment to remember, relax, and reconnect before the year ends.

Back in September, many seniors gathered early in the morning at the EBHS football field for Senior Sunrise, a tradition that symbolizes new beginnings. The Senior Sunset Sendoff acts as a quiet bookend, bringing the senior class full circle with one last shared experience outdoors.

“It’s nice to have started the year with a sunrise and go out with a bang with a sunset, both equally pretty ways to mark the beginning and end of an era,” said senior Isabella Lally. “Go Class of 2025!”

Senior April Sarmiento said, “It’s rare that we get a moment to just be with each other, without worrying about homework, tests, or anything due the next day. Honestly, that’s what I’m looking forward to most, just relaxing and spending time with friends before everything changes.”

As the sun dips below the horizon, the Senior Sunset Sendoff offers a final chance for the Class of 2025 to come together, not only to celebrate but also to appreciate the moments that have defined their high school journey.
