Coachella once again proved why it remains one of the most influential music festivals in the world. Held in mid-April in Indio, California, the event brought together a stellar lineup of global artists and rising stars, drawing large crowds of fans for two unforgettable weekends of music, art, and culture.

This year’s festival featured headliners Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G alongside rising artists such as Addison Rae, KATSEYE, and Young Thug, who made their festival debuts. “I had a lot of FOMO because Justin Bieber was performing and I wasn’t there,” said junior Gabrielle Supan. Across the board, the artists delivered high-energy performances featuring surprise guest appearances and elaborate, visually immersive stage productions.

Fashion continued to play a major role at Coachella 2026, with attendees showcasing bold, creative outfits that reflected both current trends and personal style. Social media brought these looks to the spotlight, with online users either critiquing or praising the variety of outfits seen at the festival.

In addition to music and fashion, immersive art installations transformed the desert terrain into an interactive experience. The installations included large sculptures, light displays, and digital exhibits, which encouraged attendees to engage with art in unique ways.

In all, Coachella 2026 successfully blended entertainment, creativity, and cultural influence. Junior Isabella Eisenberger said, “Coachella is a place for people to be brought together through music.” It reinforced its reputation as more than just a music festival, as it continued to evolve as a major event that shapes trends in music, fashion, and art.
