Maleeha Sheikh, Opinions Editor
Maleeha Sheikh is a junior and is one of the Opinions Editors for The Clarion. She is in charge of editing the articles that Clarion writers send in for the Opinions section, giving the writers feedback, as well as thinking of new topics for the upcoming issue. Last year was Maleeha’s first year as part of The Clarion, and she had so much fun exploring outside-of-the-box questions while she was writing her articles. The Clarion gave her an experience in journalism writing that she has not been able to find anywhere else.
In addition to The Clarion, Maleeha is on the executive board for Class Council 27 and International Club. She is also active in Spanish Honors Society, English Honors Society, and Yearbook Club. Maleeha is currently an Ambassador Girl Scout, and she has her first-degree black belt in martial arts.
If she’s not taking a nap, Maleeha is typically reading a new novel/comic book, or writing poetry in her notebook. Maleeha also loves finding different music to listen to in order to find inspiration and gain new perspectives for her writing.
