George Youssef, Editor-in-Chief
Senior George Youssef is the Editor-in-Chief of The Clarion, where he oversees article development, manages layouts, and leads a team of over 50 student journalists. He first joined the publication during his sophomore year at EBHS and quickly discovered his passion for storytelling, amplifying a diverse voices, and uncovering truth. George enjoys writing about school events, social issues, and American politics, believing that journalism has the power to inspire empathy and drive change.
Outside of The Clarion, George is active in Yearbook Club, Model United Nations, and SAVE club. He has also founded EBHS Lunch Taster, a school lunch review initative designed to help make more informed dining choices.
In his free time, George enjoys reading, creating art, biking, and listening to Taylor Swift. After graduating, he plans to study comparative literature and film, continuing his mission to tell meaningful, unheard stories.
